Down Syndrome Support Team

The Down Syndrome Support Team offers play groups as well as FREE enrichment classes for children with Down Syndrome.  They offer classes with music, dance, theatre, swimming and karate. They also have three large events per year.

Even if you do not live in the Southeast Michigan area, sign up to join this group!  The web site information that they have gathered is FANTASTIC.  They offer great programs that enrich the lives of people with Down Syndrome.  This is a great group to join.

The Michigan Early On Program is an absolute MUST for new parents of children with special needs.  Just sign up and they will send a specialist to your house.  The earlier you sign up, the better!

Children's Special Health Care Services (CSPCS) helps pay for specialty medical bills and to coordinate services for children and some adults with special needs.  Families with all incomes are able to join, even with health insurance!
